I was born in Newark, NJ. My family had a great appreciation for art. We went often to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Art is also in my family genes — my paternal grandmother’s cousin was the famous cubist painter Max Weber.
In order to participate in the creation of a brighter future for all, we must be able to imagine what that future might be. Dark images abound in our world, reinforced by the media. Many artists choose to reflect this darkness in their artwork. I don't see this as necessarily "wrong", but I choose to primarily create artwork that helps to envision a healthier, happier world that is infused with more spiritual light. I don't believe that our species fate is predetermined. Many possible alternative futures are possible. Our love, respect for the dignity of all, and our creativity will help to determine our future.
A variety of themes are explored in my artwork. Alternate futures, new worlds, meditation, contemplation, prayer, shamanism, the spirit of indigenous people, and dignity are some of these themes. My paintings are intended to invoke your imagination and I hope you will find many personal meanings. All of my paintings are created digitally. I’ve been investigating the Mandelbulber 3D Fractal Explorer as a tool for creating a new type of art work. I use this tool in conjunction with Photoshop.
